Usage:
Step 1 : Set Up the Machine
- Set the de-feathering machine on a stable surface. Take the freshly processed chickens (scalded properly at the appropriate temperature for feather removal).
Step 2 : Power On and Adjust Settings
- Turn on the machine and adjust settings. Start with lower speeds to assess the performance before increasing the speed as needed.
Step 3 : Load the Chickens
- Place the scalded chickens into the machine carefully, ensuring they are loaded in a way that allows for even distribution.
- Do not overload the machine, as this may impede effectiveness and damage the equipment.
Step 4 : Monitor the Process
- Observe the de-feathering process for about 30 seconds to a minute. Depending on the model, the speed of feather removal may vary.
- If necessary, adjust the speed of the machine for efficient removal of feathers.
Step 5 : Collect the Feathers
- Once the machine has finished operating, turn it off and remove the chickens.
- Collect the feathers and discard or compost them as appropriate.
Step 6 : Clean the Machine
